# Device as a Service (DaaS)

Device as a Service is C Prompt Solutions' core offering. The customer pays one monthly fee per
device and C Prompt owns the hardware and the work around it: sourcing it, configuring it,
delivering it, keeping it running, replacing it when it fails, refreshing it when it ages, and
retiring it at end of life.

## What is included

* **Procurement** against the customer's specification, from Dell, HP, Lenovo or Apple.
* **Imaging and asset tagging** before dispatch, so devices arrive ready to use.
* **Delivery** in 24 hours in the hub cities, about 2 business days elsewhere in India.
* **Maintenance** at no extra cost for the term of the lease.
* **Same-business-day replacement** if a device fails in a serviceable city.
* **24/7 helpdesk**.
* **Refresh and retirement**, including data wipe on returned devices.

## What it replaces

A capital purchase, an asset register, a depreciation schedule, a disposal problem, and separate
vendors for hardware, deployment and support. See

## Commercial terms

Terms run from 1 day to 5 years. Monthly and quarterly plans are the common corporate pattern; day
and week rates exist for events. There is no long lock-in requirement stated. Pricing is quoted per
enquiry against configuration, quantity and duration; no rate card is published.
