# The device lifecycle C Prompt runs

The customer's job is to say what they need. Everything below is C Prompt's job, and it is what the
monthly fee buys.

1. **Procure** - source current-generation Dell, HP, Lenovo or Apple hardware against the customer's
   specification. The customer never raises a purchase order for the hardware.
2. **Deploy** - devices arrive imaged, asset-tagged and QC-tested: on desks in 24 hours in the hub
   cities, within about 2 days anywhere in India.
3. **Support** - maintenance is included for the term, the helpdesk runs 24/7, and a failed device is
   replaced the same business day in serviceable cities.
4. **Refresh** - when hardware ages out it is swapped for current kit, without a new capital cycle.
5. **Retire** - the old units are collected, and certified data wipe and end-of-life handling are
   applied. Returned devices are wiped before redeployment; certified wiping is available on request
   for enterprise customers.
